Polish canoe team had many reasons to celebrate during the third competition day of the 2017 ECA Canoe Slalom European Championships in Ljubljana – Tacen. In the men’s kayak final Mateusz Polaczyk and Dariusz Popiela finished the race in positions one and two and Filip – Andrzej Brzezinski won silver medal in men’s C2 event.

The 2017 ECA Canoe Slalom European Championships in Ljubljana – Tacen kicked off with heats in C2M, C1W and K1M events. Most of the favourites came safely through to the semi-finals, the biggest upset was in men’s C2 event, where multiple Olympic medallists Peter and Pavol Hochschorner (SVK) failed to proceed to the semi-final.

Tacen, 1. junija (STA) – S kvalifikacijami pri kajakaših, kanuistkah in kanuističnih dvosedih se je danes v Tacnu začelo evropsko prvenstvo v slalomu na divjih vodah. Brzice pod Šmarno goro je med kajakaši uspešno ukrotil tudi Peter Kauzer, ki se je v polfinale prebil že s prvo kvalifikacijsko vožnjo, v prvo pa sta bila uspešna tudi Luka Božič in Sašo Taljat v dvosedu.
